Unless there is something that keeps you from executing lifts correctly sharp pains, upset stomach that keeps you from bracing your core properly, etc you can lift weights. So… There would not appear to be any physiological reason not to. It depends on the sex, if it's really good sex I have jelly legs and I'm doing nothing for a while.
